In the frames of JoPScip project WP 4 “Curriculum Development and Teaching Excellence Initiatives” the Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia from June 24-28, 2024 hosted a comprehensive training program for teachers in Political Theory, Comparative Politics, Public Policy and Administration, and Methodology.

During the Training Günter Wageneder, a QA Expert at the University of Salzburg, and Franz Kok, the Project Coordinator and Erasmus Coordinator at the University of Salzburg led the sessions on European Guidelines and Standards for Quality Assurance, focusing on the Posig QA model and joint program curriculum structure, as well as guided the participants through creating learning outcome-oriented syllabuses and comprehensive teacher handbooks. Dr. Reinhard Heinisch conducted the session on developing an effective research design, which is crucial for producing a high-quality master’s thesis in political science.

Group Works and Module Preparations Coordinated by experts Mario Wintersteiger (PLUS) and Goran Janev (UKIM), Bojana Naumovska (UKIM), Pande Lazarevski (UKIM), Robert Hubert (PLUS) and Jovan Bliznakovski (UKIM) helped the participants to focus on module preparations in Political Theory, Comparative Politics, Public Policy and Administration, and Methodology, respectively. The final days were dedicated to preparing and presenting syllabuses, fostering a collaborative environment where educators could share and refine their course structures
