TEACHERS’ TRAINING IN EUROPEAN INTEGRATION & INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

From 30 June to 6 July 2024, the University of Salzburg (PLUS) hosted a WP4 teacher training programme on European Integration and International Relations as part of the JoPScip project. The training brought together academic staff from partner institutions to strengthen teaching excellence and support the development of the Joint MA Programme in Political Science – Integration and Governance (PoSIG).

The programme focused on European standards for joint degree programmes, quality assurance, innovative teaching methodologies, and contemporary approaches to master’s level teaching and research. Participants also exchanged experiences and explored collaborative approaches to curriculum delivery through interactive discussions and practical workshops.

Training sessions were delivered by Günter Wageneder (PLUS), Franz Kok (PLUS), Andreas Dür (PLUS), Markus Gastinger (PLUS), Milka Dimitrovska (UKIM), Kathrin Bachleitner (PLUS), and Aneta Cekić (UKIM). The programme concluded with collaborative planning of joint teaching activities, further strengthening academic cooperation and preparing teaching staff for the implementation of the new joint master’s programme.
