Introducing PoSIG to International Political Science Students
As part of the Erasmus Welcome event, the University of Salzburg organized an Open Door Day for international BA students in Political Science, bringing together participants from 21 countries worldwide. The session was hosted by Professor Andreas Dür, Head of the Department of Political Science, and Franz Kok, JoPScip/PoSIG Project Coordinator.
During the event, Project Administrative Staff member Soso Makaradze presented the Joint MA Programme in Political Science – Integration and Governance (PoSIG), highlighting its international and interdisciplinary character, joint degree structure, mobility opportunities, and application process. Participants were also introduced to the programme website and its key features.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to promote the programme among a diverse international audience and strengthen its visibility within the global political science community. By engaging prospective students from 21 countries, the initiative contributed to expanding the programme’s international reach and attracting future applicants.
